چکیده
These are the proceedings of the 11th Nonmonotonic Reasoning Workshop. Theaim of this series http://www.kr.org/NMR/ is to bring together active re-searchers in the broad area of nonmonotonic reasoning, including belief revision, reasoning about actions, planning, logic programming, argumentation, causality, probabilistic and possibilistic approaches to KR, and other related topics. As part of the program of the 11th workshop, we have assessed the status of thefield and discussed issues such as: Significant recent achievements in the theoryand automation of NMR; Critical short and long term goals for NMR; Emergingnew research directions in NMR; Practical applications of NMR; Significance ofNMR to knowledge representation and AI in general.

The effect of short-term workshop on improving clinical reasoning skill of medical students
Background: Clinical reasoning process leads clinician to get purposeful steps from signs and symptoms toward diagnosis and treatment. This research intends to investigate the effect of teaching clinical reasoning on problem-solving skills of medical students. Methods: This research is a semi-experimental study. Nineteen Medical student of the pediatric ward as case group participated...

were encouraged to stress what the motivation was for the work and what was learned from the experience; descriptions of work that attempted to cross disciplines were encouraged. Computational tractability: Research in nonmonotonic reasoning deliberately ignored computational concerns for many years. Now, there is a growing interest in tractable realizations of the generally intractable theorie...
متن کاملThe Effect of Bayesian Reasoning Training on the Results of Clinical Reasoning Tests of Interns
Introduction: Clinical reasoning includes a range of thinking about clinical medicine at all stages of patient evaluation. Bayesian theory can be used to refute or confirm differential diagnoses in the clinical reasoning process. In this way, by learning the basic mathematical language of probability in medicine, we can change our beliefs according to new evidence. The aim of this study is to i...
